winter has been here for a while but we finally had some time to get up to play in the snow. Even Gerry seemed to enjoy it. I had a few turns sliding down the small hills. The children had lots of fun and we even found an igloo someone had made. The weather was one of the best I have ever been on the mountain, for winter that is.
As you can see the weather here has been a little cold over the last week. So it has been perfect weather for the tour de fleece. I have been busy trying to spin as much of my fleece srash as possible so this is what I have done so far.
I thought I would try and see if I am able to post a photo onto my blog as I have been having problems for a while. This is a lovely flower blooming in my brothers garden in new zealand. If you are able to see this photo I will be back soon with a little update on my knitting adventures of late.
My life revolves around dogs, family and the change of the weather. You will find me knitting, walking or wondering why nothing much grows in my garden when we have no soil, plenty of rocks and wildlife that loves the plants I try to grow.
I guess you could say that I wish there was more time for me to do and make all those exciting things out there in the world or maybe it is just my inability to use my time wisely. Oh and there is never enough time to read all those books. I really love learning new things, making new things and learning from others. you can find me as bishopstone on ravelry.
